Book Description:

Abigail Shelton is dead.

Spring Valley's golden girl is found floating face-down in her boyfriend’s pool, hands bound behind her back, head bleeding, drugs and alcohol in her system. Her friends are the only suspects – and they all have reasons to want her dead. Everyone has an alibi, but no one is innocent.

ALIBI is a 4-part young adult e-book series. Each one-hundred page installment reveals the perspective of a different character: the secret love, the nemesis, the boyfriend, the best friend. As their tales unfold, we learn that Abby is not as perfect as everyone believes, but she’s not the only one with secrets to hide. This page-turning tale of suspense, betrayal, murder, and lust will keep fans of Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars up and reading well past curfew.

 My Thoughts:
The cover is so beautiful. You get to see what the characters really look like. I devoured this book in one sitting. This book is such a page turner!

The Alibi series consists of 4 books, wherein the four primary suspects have their own POV’s regarding the events before and after the death of Abby. As you read, you’ll only have one question in mind. Who killed Abigail Shelton?

The series started with Charles, our hot Australian who went to live in Spring Valley to run away from his dark past. Next is Palmer, our sexy, intelligent girl whose goal is to get a scholarship for her future. We have Mason “Ace” for the 3rd book, Abby’s boyfriend who’s trying his best not to be overshadowed by his Australian cousin, and lastly is Rowan, Abby’s best friend who has dark secrets of her own. The characters are so diverse, each of them is unique.

Alibi was addicting and an absolute page-turner. Once I started reading the first book, I couldn’t put it down until the last one. I really enjoy a good murder/mystery book, and this is one of the best I’ve read in that genre so far. Each of the characters has their own voices and you can easily distinguish each of them with their unique personalities. You also get to see what really did happen in his/her own perspective.

A lot of twists were uncovered as you read, only making me more thrilled to know WHO really did kill Abby! It seemed like I myself is a detective, trying to gather all the clues that will lead to the real killer.
The only thing I didn’t liked about this was I wasn’t satisfied with the ending.
*Spoiler* After finishing the series, the readers will know who the killer is, but justice wasn’t served. When reading mysteries, the parts that I always loved the best were the “busting” parts where the suspect is caught. Unfortunately, this didn’t have that.

Overall, this book is a must read for mystery lovers.

I give this book 4 whales.
