1.    Give us 3 interesting facts about you?
I’m 186 cms. I haven’t had alcohol or caffeine for 4 years. I have a TV crush on Alexander Skarsgard.

2.    Who designed the covers (They are absolutely BREATHTAKING)?
The cover art is by JarolsawKubicki an amazing European digital artist. We were able to get permission to use some of his work. We love it and it fitted so perfectly with the stories.

3.    What inspired you to write about “The Night Creature Series”?
The story came to me about eight years ago after I’d finished my first novel Nylon Angel. It was inspired by a number of things I was interested in; Gothic architecture, nocturnal habits of creatures and the fact that I’d spent several years living on an island.

4.    Can you share a little of your current work with us (Shine Light)?
Shine Light is set back on Ixion as Naif returns to enlighten her friends about their situation. Things have become dire; people are dying, the Ripers have split. The story also progresses Naif’s relationships with both Markes and Lenoir to their natural conclusion.

5.    Any message to aspiring writers?

  2. Hi Dannielle!

OMG! I am so glad I stopped by because I REALLY want to read this series! I actually just emailed the author in hopes that she will let me know how to go about buying Burn Bright! I noticed she is an Australian author and I think the only way her books can be purchased is through Random House Australia, right? I looked on amazon.com and didn't see her books anywhere!

For some reason this look and feel of this series reminds me of Poppy Z. Brite, author of Lost Souls. Thank you, thank you, thank you for spotlighting this author! If you know of any way to purchase her books, let me know!

    Best Wishes,

    1. Hi there Mia,

OMIGOSH! Me too! Yes, through Random House Australia. The series are not available on Book Depository and Amazon :C I've been searching her books for quite sometime now. What I did, I emailed her publishing company for a review request. Hopefully they will approve. I'm in LOVE with the covers!

I will let you know if I found an online bookstore who sells her book.

    2. Hi Dannielle!

I emailed the author (Marianne) and she sent me some links to some Australian bookstores, such as:

      Booktopia and Fishpond

BUT those sites charge WAY too much for shipping to the United States! I think Booktopia charges like over $30 dollars.

But I found this site called Abbey's Bookshop that is selling the book for $17.05 (but when I was at check out, the price dropped to $15.50) and the shipping was only $15.00. So my grand total was $30.50. I know it sounds expensive, but it is cheap compared to the prices I was looking at (one place was like over $50 dollars!).

So that is the cheapest you are going to find it for now unless the publisher sends you something. In any case, I ordered my copy from Abby's Bookshop (praying it's worth what I spent for it!). Let me know if you should find anything else. Hope this helps!

      Best Wishes,

  3. Mia,

So jealous :) Thanks for the information. 30 dollars is quite expensive for me if I convert it in my country's currency. I'm really hoping they could give me a review copy :D Let me know if it's good, once you're done reading the book.

  4. Aww, I definitely will let you know how it is once I get around to reading it. Gotta try to find time in between other author requests and my insane ARC TBR pile lol.
