My best travel experience would be when my family and I went camping when I was little it's our first outing as a family, and the last too :) It's a bittersweet memory but it's still the best one :)
A year before my Dad passed away unexpectedly, my family & I took a trip to Texas, Arizona, and Colorado. We saw the Grand Canyon and the Colorado mountains, Meteor Crater in Arizona. It was our first trip in 20 years and our very last. It was my dads idea and we are so glad he had it. We miss him. Thank you so much for the giveaway. I read Anna & the French Kiss a few years ago and loved it. I've been wanting to read it again. ;)
My best travel experience is easy, the time we went to LA. I'm from Belgium so that's a pretty far trip. I loved it from start to finish (plane ride excluded). If I could go back (without having to fly) I would in a heartbeat.
I'm from Argentina and here girls have big celebrations for their fifeteenth birthday, they usually choose between a big party or a trip (usually to Disney). For mine I chose the trip so I travelled almost half an year before my actual birthday with a bunch of 15 year old girls and we spent 2 awesome weeks there.
my friends and I went to Disney World last year and it was the last trip we all took together before my friend died of cancer. We had a lot of fun and made a lot of memories. Thanks for sharing!
My husband travels for work and we're apart too much :( He takes me with him whenever he can. We have a blast together but our best time traveling was Chattanooga Tennessee for Riverfest. <3
My best travel experience is definitely my trip to Asia. That's how I met my husband and got engaged :) We met on a travel website back in 2007 and after talking for few months he invited me to Seoul, Korea for a 2 week trip. It was always my dream to visit Asia, especially Korea, so I jumped at it! We met at the airport in Incheon, and spend a few days in Seoul. Then one day, on the way to the National Museum of Korea, he asked me: "If we ever get to visit Hong Kong and Tokyo together, will you marry me?" :D I said yes, and then in the evening he showed me tickets to Hong Kong and Japan!!! We spent two days in Hong Kong eating dim sum and watching the light shows and then traveled to Tokyo :) Then we got back to Korea, he bought us couple rings and proposed to me at midnight under the winter skies of Seoul :D I am not shitting you - true story! We are now living in the US together and just had our first baby ;) Definitely TRIP OF MY LIFE! :)
Thank you for the chance to win! Fingers crossed :) Evie @Bookish
In 2010, I went on a family trip to many places in Asia such as Malaysia. We also went to Dubai! It was awesome as everyone in the family including aunts, uncles and cousins came too! :D
A couple years age my family and I went on a road trip to Texas. I remember being on the road was awful, but once we got to Texas we all started to have a lot of fun.
My best travel experience would be going to Traverse City, MI with my boyfriend last year. Which we are actually going back there tomorrow! :) Thanks for this giveaway!
My favourite was a family trip when I was little- no idea where we went, except that on the last night we stayed in little huts made of mats, and got a traditional meal, and my brother and I put on a show with our plush toys :)
