OH FREX! This book is EPIC! better than the first book. Beth Revis continues to awe me. She is a frexing genius!! This book is one of a kind, there is no other book like this. Godspeed's engine had stopped working, the passengers are rattled and now aware on what's happening due to the absence of Phydus. An uprising is brewing making Godspeed less safer than before. Elder is now Eldest and is now facing a huge responsibility to lead the ship and to protect its people. The characters had grown, I like how Amy and Elder's relationship blossoms in this book. They really make a good couple. Amy is much stronger and she is not afraid anymore. She feels like she is now part of the ship and not an outsider. Amy is also on a quest to look for answers. Orion left clues for her to find. Those Nancy Drew moments is actually my favorite part in the book. I was so curious and begging for answers.I was stunned, shocked and blown away. Beth Revis is the master of surprise! You have to read this book to find out why. I couldn't put this book down. Even after reading it, I was thinking about it all day. The ending is a cliffhanger! I can't wait for Book 3.
Overall, this book is FREXING AWESOME. A must read for sci-fi lovers. An instant favorite of mine. I wouldn't be surprise if this book becomes a movie, it is so cinematic.
