One of the best books we've read last November is
Girl of Nightmares by Kendare Blake
"Girl of Nightmares is a great book. It has action, horror, humor, romance and a twist of the famous paranormal genre. It is fast paced and addicting, leaving you wanting for more. I'm not sure if this series has a third book, but I'm definitely looking forward for more of Ms. Blake's works."

Great pick! My book of the month would have to be The Crimson Crown by Cinda Williams Chima. I haven't even finished the book (though I'm very close) and yet . . . I think it's going to be my favourite read this month. :)
ReplyDeleteOhhh. I saw the cover from Goodreads, it's really pretty. Plus it's a series :D Thanks for putting it on my radar :D

I adored the first book and thought this one was a bit less exciting, but still very good. Great pick! My book of the month is definitely Seraphina by Rachel Hartmann, that book totally blew me away. :)
ReplyDeleteMaja,
DeleteI hear a lot of good stuffs about that book. I've been wanting to read it ever since it came out :D

Lovely pick! I enjoyed the first one and still need to get around to this. My book of last month is split between Splintered by A.G. Howard and Stolen by Lucy Christopher.
ReplyDeleteSam,
DeleteI saw your review on Stolen.... dying to read that book :D
-Dannielle
I loved the Evolution of Mara Dyer :) I think that was my only 5-star November read. I haven't read Kendare's series yet. I totally need to steal my book back from my friend. Good to know the sequel is just as good as the first!
ReplyDeleteBecca,
DeleteI just bought the first book of that series. I can't wait to read it. Yes, the second one is as good as the first one.

Great pick! I have yet to read Anna Dressed in Blood, but I saw Kendare Blake at Decatur Book Fest and she was HILARIOUS! It makes me want to dive into the series even more.
ReplyDeleteEEeek i freaking LOVED this one! I enjoyed the first but this was really blew me away I loved the ending and sad that there's not a 3rd, but on the other hand the ending was so perfect I wouldn't want to ruin it!
ReplyDeleteHi Giselle,
DeleteSame here, I really didn't want it to end and the ending is just perfect.

Oh a brilliant pick! I still need to get to this. I think my book of the month would have to be Flawed by Kate Avelynn! :)
ReplyDeleteI've been hearing some amazing things about that book. The plot seems controversial but I like to read something new. This book is part of my Christmas wish list :D

I heard about this series and it has an interesting concept, but I still did not read it. I hope I will find the time soon.
ReplyDeleteI read a lot of average books in November, a couple of them I liked a little bit more than but nothing really blew me away. :( My only 5-star read was "Fairy Tales from the Brothers Grimm: A New English Version by Philip Pullman".
I just want to drop by and say that your book blog is super cute! :D
ReplyDeleteI love whales & I love what you did with them - whale & books, who knew?

Oh, Girl of Nightmares! I still haven't read it yet but everyone I know seems to love it very much! I'm still too scared to pick it up because of the horror content LOL! x) I think my favorite book in November is The Fault in Our Stars by John Green! That book is so freakin amazing and I cried a lot when I read it. Have you read it, Dannielle? :D
ReplyDeleteHi Hilda,
DeleteI was scared the whole time. Though finishing it is worth it. Try reading the book. As for Fault in Our Stars, not yet. I'm actually putting it on my Christmas wish list. Thanks for visiting our site, Hilda.
