Book of the Month November 2012 "Girl of Nightmares by Kendare Blake"

Book of the  Month
One of the best books we've read last November is
Girl of Nightmares by Kendare Blake

"Girl of Nightmares is a great book. It has action, horror, humor, romance and a twist of the famous paranormal genre. It is fast paced and addicting, leaving you wanting for more. I'm not sure if this series has a third book, but I'm definitely looking forward for more of Ms. Blake's works."

  1. Great pick! My book of the month would have to be The Crimson Crown by Cinda Williams Chima. I haven't even finished the book (though I'm very close) and yet . . . I think it's going to be my favourite read this month. :)

  3. Lovely pick! I enjoyed the first one and still need to get around to this. My book of last month is split between Splintered by A.G. Howard and Stolen by Lucy Christopher.

  4. I loved the Evolution of Mara Dyer :) I think that was my only 5-star November read. I haven't read Kendare's series yet. I totally need to steal my book back from my friend. Good to know the sequel is just as good as the first!

    1. I've been hearing some amazing things about that book. The plot seems controversial but I like to read something new. This book is part of my Christmas wish list :D

  8. I heard about this series and it has an interesting concept, but I still did not read it. I hope I will find the time soon.
I read a lot of average books in November, a couple of them I liked a little bit more than but nothing really blew me away. :( My only 5-star read was "Fairy Tales from the Brothers Grimm: A New English Version by Philip Pullman".

  11. Oh, Girl of Nightmares! I still haven't read it yet but everyone I know seems to love it very much! I'm still too scared to pick it up because of the horror content LOL! x) I think my favorite book in November is The Fault in Our Stars by John Green! That book is so freakin amazing and I cried a lot when I read it. Have you read it, Dannielle? :D

    1. Hi Hilda,
I was scared the whole time. Though finishing it is worth it. Try reading the book. As for Fault in Our Stars, not yet. I'm actually putting it on my Christmas wish list. Thanks for visiting our site, Hilda.
