Review- Existence ( Existence Trilogy 1) by Abbi Glines

Title: Existence ( Existence Trilogy 1)
Author: Abbi Glines
Published: Dec 12, 2011 by Wild Child Publishing

Book Description:

What happens when you're stalked by Death? You fall in love with him, of course.

Pagan Moore doesn't cheat Death, but instead, falls in love with him.

Seventeen year old Pagan Moore has seen souls her entire life. Once she realized the strangers she often saw walking through walls were not visible to anyone else, she started ignoring them. If she didn't let them know she could see them, then they left her alone. Until she stepped out of her car the first day of school and saw an incredibly sexy guy lounging on a picnic table, watching her with an amused smirk on his face. Problem is, she knows he's dead.

Not only does he not go away when she ignores him, but he does something none of the others have ever done. He speaks. Pagan is fascinated by the soul. What she doesn't realize is that her appointed time to die is drawing near and the wickedly beautiful soul she is falling in love with is not a soul at all.

My Thoughts:

He is Death and he's about to break all the rules.

I read Abbi Gline's 'The Vincent Boys'. I drooled over Beau and Sawyer. So when I heard about Abbi's new book Existence. I immediately bought the book. I am now Abbi's official fan! I love how her novels melt my heart away.
I was drawn to this book instantly. Dank in cover captives me, his eyes and protectiveness to Pagan gave butterflies in my stomach. The story is believable and unique. It was refreshing to read a book about deities or mythology. (Not the typical vampire, werewolves, angels and fairies).I like the characters names as well, Pagan and Dank. It is not like the other common names in other novels.

Pagan, is a typical teenager with a gift to see spirits. She does not acknowledge her gift so she pretends not to notice them (Spirits). But Dank is a different spirit, he spoke to Pagan and demands to acknowledge his presence.
The story revolves around Pagan and Dank. How their relationship blossoms. There were also some twists in the story that will put you on the edge of your seat. There is also a brewing love triangle. The last chapter was a cliffhanger! I was stunned! Leif is another character in this book (can't say more about him to avoid spoilers). I just want to say, "Whoa! what an ending"
Overall, this book is UH-MAZING! I can't wait to read Predestined and The Vincent Brothers!! I recommend this book to people who love romance, ghosts and mythology. A must read!!!
I give this book 4.5 whales
