Review: Entangled (Spellbound #1) by Nikki Jefford

Title: Entangled (Spellbound #1)
Author: Nikki Jefford
Published: Feb 20th 2012 by Nikki Jefford
Book Description:
Twin witches Graylee and Charlene Perez agree on one rule: No dating warlocks.
Not so easy when a certain rogue warlock is convinced he and Graylee belong together and will use anything, including magic, to try and impress Gray. When Charlene’s boyfriend dumps her, she threatens to kill either herself or the girl who stole Blake. Somehow, Gray ends up dead.
A Resurrection Spell Gone Wrong:
Two months after dying, Gray wakes up in Charlene’s body. As a witch, can anyone blame her mother for attempting to bring her daughter back to life? Only now Gray’s stuck sharing her sister’s body 50/50 in twenty-four hour shifts.
The race is on for Gray to find a way back inside her own body before Charlene purges her from existence. Raj McKenna is rumored to meddle in the black arts, not to mention he’s after Gray’s invisibility spell and worse – her heart. But Raj might be the only one powerful enough to save Gray from fading away forever

My Thoughts:
                                    A Resurrection Spell gone wrong
                                    You can never cheat death........

The cover got my attention; it is so pretty. Thanks to Nikki Jefford for giving me an e-book copy in exchange for an honest review. This book is a marvelous read! Entangled is full of surprises and  boost with shock-power that will leave your mouth hanging open.

Twin girls sharing one body, having 50/50 in 24 hours shift. Imagine that? One morning you wake up next to your twin’s boyfriend, naked. Or waking up, only to find your sister had cut your hair short.  The story is full of twist and turns.  “Betrayal, Jealousy and Revenge” What exactly caused Graylee’s untimely death? Who can she trust? You have to read this book to find out.

The world building is impressive. I love the concept of twin witches, sharing one body. It was written flawlessly. There were no dull moments. I read this book in one sitting. The story is so unique; I was absorbed in.  “The Vow of Honor” No magic in public reminds me a bit of Harry Potter (No magic outside Hogwarts)

The characters are believable. I connected to them easily; especially with the sibling rivalry issue. The conflicts are realistic too. It was like watching a soap opera (Rivalries, Drama, Revenge and Betrayal) Oh boy, this book is a must read.

The story is written in different POVs.  You get to know each character well. Graylee and Charlene maybe identical twins, but both are different. Graylee is more boyish, quiet or more of wall flower; While Charlene is the cheerleading type. Raj is to die for! A Bad boy with a soft spot! In my head, I imagined Avan Jogia in Victorious.

The romance angle is convincing, which I love. I like how the two character's feelings blossom into something more. It gave butterflies to my stomach.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. A must read for paranormal and mystery lovers. I can’t wait for Duplicity!! :D
I give this book, 4.5 whales.
