Follow Friday #4

Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Its a way to get out there and meet new bloggers and discover new blogs.
This weeks featured blog is Beefcake and Babes!

Q. I like unique name for characters and am looking forward to coming up with some when I start writing. What's the most unique character name you've come across?

A: I really love it when I come across novels with characters with unique names! So far, the most unique name I remember is Roar from Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi. When he was first introduced in the book, Perry shouted "Roar!" and I thought he's only mimicking an animal or something, but it turned out that he was actually calling someone! Now that took me by surprise! :D

Follow Friday #3

Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Rachel of Parajunkee and Alison of Alison Can Read! It's a great way to meet new blogger friends!
This week’s question is…
Q: Define what characteristics your favorite books share. Do they all have a kick ass heroine or is the hot love interest the Alpha Male?

A: I absolutely LOVE kick ass heroines who can take care of themselves like Rose from Vampire Academy or Ellie from Angelfire. I hate reading novels where heroines are so weak and mostly depend on others, that's why I'm very picky when it comes to what kind of heroine a book has. When it comes to guys, I like alpha males, but sometimes I think that they're just too perfect. I pretty much prefer the "bad boy" types because they're more interesting. :D

How about you guys?

Follow Friday #2

Follow Friday is a weekly Blog Hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. This meme gives both bloggers and readers an opportunity to discover new blogs and get to know each other a little better. This week's featured Blogger is Book'd Out whose question is...

What book genre do you avoid at all costs and why?
Hmmm... I usually avoid nonfiction books. I find them boring. Fiction books are way better because it's interesting, plus the usually impossible things becomes possible. Sometimes I wish I was a character in a novel instead!
I also avoid novels about wars, etc. Really not a big fan of it.
How about you guys?

Follow Friday #1 , TGIF #1

Feature and Follow Friday is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. This week's featured blog is Pretty in Fiction and Butterfly-o-Meter Books.

Question of the Week:

What's the craziest thing you've ever done to get your hands on any particular book?

Answer: Hmmm... I actually didn't do anything crazy for a book. I didn't want any fights or whatsoever, so if I really want a particular book, I patiently wait for it's release and buy it. Lol! Boring answer. I know. *sighs*

TGIF was started over at GReads! where the blogger re-caps their posts during the past week and answers the question that is proposed for that specific Friday.

Recommend It: Which book from the last 10 you've read would you recommend to a friend?
Hunting Lila by Sarah Alderson! It was a light and fun read for me and I definitely recommend it to all Paranormal/Romance fans! :D
